Lord's Acre is a tradition that dates back to the earliest day of the Methodist movement in America. Parishioners set aside an acre of their best ground and dedicated all the produce from that acre to God. We continue that tradition at Brock United Methodist the last Saturday in September every year. Our Lord's Acre is an old fashioned harvest festival with handmade crafts and goods, auctions, vendor booths, children's activities, and a home cooked turkey and dressing dinner. This is a huge event for our church and a great way to bring the community together. Further, the proceeds of the event go to support the ministries and missions of our church by being the major source of funds for the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities.
