This week, we continue the sermon series, The Questions Jesus Asks. The question asked to us this Sunday is, “What do you want me to do for you?” It is this question that Jesus asked many people whom he healed, but the context for us is the healing of Bartimaeus the blind man. Many times we cry out to Jesus for healing and wholeness. Often, our brokenness, blindness, and other spiritual ailments prevent us from experiencing the abundant life Christ has in store for us. When Jesus asks us the question, “What do you want me to do for you?” are we truthful in our response? Or, do we think we can save ourselves? Today, Jesus asks us the same question. How will we respond?
